BUILA Conference 2024

IDP Connect is thrilled to be a partner of the BUILA Annual Conference - now in its 19th iteration - taking place on 9-11 July in Birmingham. 

The conference programme will give delegates the opportunity to explore key issues impacting the UK global student recruitment sector, with a particular focus on perception and reputation. 

Topics will cover:

• How UK universities can remain resilient despite political uncertainty and negative narratives  

• Ways in which the sector can shine a spotlight on the strategies that institutions can employ to withstand external factors and challenges 

• Best practice and cutting-edge ideas to help the sector to thrive amid adversity

Recruitment expert, Oliver Quinn Palmer, Associate Head of Client Partnerships at IDP Connect, will sit on one of the event panels delving into what’s next for the study abroad landscape.

Alongside other leaders in the HE space, the panellists will draw from the latest research, data on key student drivers and policy incentives, student sentiment and behaviours – including the latest findings from IDP Connect’s latest Emerging Futures 5 report, an international student survey research - to discuss the effects on student demand for the UK.
